PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk. (MNC), established in 1997, is Indonesia’s largest and most integrated media company. As a parent company, MNC owns a range of media outlets including television stations, radio networks, and digital news platforms

Beyond media, MNC also manages Universitas Media Nusantara Citra or MNC University and Lido Special Economic Zone (SEZ). In addition, Lido SEZ has plans to develop a hospital as part of its future growth. Located just one hour from Jakarta via toll road, the 1,040-hectare Lido SEZ is envisioned as an integrated township encompassing residential, commercial, entertainment, and resort facilities. MNC University (MNCU) is currently in discussions with an international partner to develop and offer a course in e-commerce.
MNCU comprises two faculties:
• Faculty of Business and Finance, offering programmes in Management, Accounting, and Mathematics (undergraduate).
• Faculty of Creative Industry, offering programmes in Communication, Visual Communication Design, Informatics, Computer Science, and English (undergraduate). MNCU is actively seeking partnerships with UK universities to support the internationalisation of its current programmes.
While the final partnership setup is to be finalised (including whether it’s undergraduate or postgraduate), it is envisaged that it will involve collaborative arrangement. This may include programmes that result in students receiving either a single award, joint award from two universities, or a separate award from each university (double degree). In the longer term, the university plans to establish a Faculty of Medicine at a new campus within the Lido SEZ.

Expression of Interest
UK universities are invited to submit a brief Expression of Interest (maximum 3 pages) by email at the latest 1 October 2025.
MNC University is seeking UK partner institution[s] that:
• Has a strong track record in business, finance, communication, informatics, and computer science.
• Is open to collaborating on the future development of a Faculty of Medicine within MNC University. MNC University is open to work with more than one partner institution. Prior experience working with Indonesian universities in relevant fields is desirable.
